20th International Alanya Stone Sculpture Symposium Continues in Alanya

The Annual 20th International Alanya Stone Sculpture Symposium is underway in Alanya. Organized by the Alanya Municipality in collaboration with ALTAV, ALTİD and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, the event features stone-carving artists from six countries: Turkey, Belarus, Iran, Spain, Moldova and Greece.
Ten sculptors — including Ege Kolcu, Eyüp Öz and Kiryl Krokhaliou — are working outdoors near Keykubat Park, shaping large stone blocks into unique sculptures.
A key educational component invites students and youth groups to visit the site, attend workshops and engage directly with the artists.
The symposium runs through 30 November 2025; afterwards, the finished works will be displayed across Alanya, lending the city the atmosphere of an open-air sculpture museum.
