Municipal Crews Sparkle Bus Stops in Alanya: Waiting Areas Get a Comprehensive Clean-Up

In the Alanya region — specifically in the nearby district of Gazipaşa — municipal workers embarked on a thorough cleaning of bus stops.
The stops, heavily used by locals and tourists alike, were cleared of dirt, dust, old posters and graffiti. Doors, side panels, benches and signboards were all refreshed and now appear almost brand new.
Additionally, the Culture and Social Affairs Department placed warning signs indicating that under Article 42 of the Misdemeanours Law (Law No. 5326), illegal posting of adverts carries fines ranging from 2 953 TL to 91 658 TL.
Officials emphasised that this is part of ongoing efforts: monitoring cleanliness and outward appearance of public transit facilities, and public awareness campaigns regarding proper advertising and environmental protection will continue.
