Fuel Prices Near 60 TL in Alanya — Locals Outraged
10 November / Haberler.com

In the Alanya district, the price of fuel is approaching 60 Turkish Lira per litre, sparking frustration among residents and business owners.
Abdullah Akkuş, head of the district branch of the Anahtar Party, said the increase is affecting everything from school transport to fruit and vegetable logistics. “Even before the new year, one litre is almost 60 TL. It puts massive pressure on households and businesses.”
The rise is stark compared to five years ago when prices were around 6 TL per litre—nearly a ten-fold increase.
Locals are calling for price relief, stronger oversight of the fuel market, and targeted support for smaller transport and logistics operators.
