Fake MHRS Sites Alerted in Alanya — Government Warns

The Turkish Ministry of Health has issued a warning to Alanya residents regarding increasing scams involving fake websites pretending to be the Merkezi Hekim Randevu Sistemi (MHRS) (central medical appointment system).
These fraudulent platforms request payments for doctor appointments or ask for personal/bank details. The official statement stresses that using the authentic website (mhrs.gov.tr) or its mobile app is free, and users should not follow links received from unknown sources.
Tips for residents of Alanya:
Confirm the website ends with “.gov.tr”;
Never enter e-Gov or bank details on unofficial pages;
If you receive suspicious messages (“Missed appointment – pay penalty”), do not pay or click links.
– If in doubt, contact the Health Ministry’s hotline or consumer protection unit.
