Commemoration at ALKÜ: Honouring Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk

At Alanya’s ALKÜ University a solemn ceremony was held to honour the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Türkiye.

The event began with a minute of silence at Atatürk’s monument, followed by flower-laying and lanterns by students and faculty in respect and gratitude. Organisers stated: “We remember the Great Leader with deep respect and thankfulness for his contributions to the nation.”

The programme included speeches by history-students, short documentary clips, and musical tributes reflective of the country’s revolution and modernization. The ceremony concluded in the assembly hall with the viewings of the archive footage and the declaration: “The Republic will live forever.”
