Knife Attack in Alanya Street: Woman Punched then Stabbed

In the Cumhuriyet Mahallesi neighbourhood of Alanya, an unknown male attacker first punched a woman and then stabbed her with a knife while she was walking.

The incident took place on the sidewalk; the assailant fled immediately after the attack. Police have launched a wide search operation and are asking residents to stay alert and report any suspicious individuals.

According to local reports the woman sustained injuries described as ‘minor’, and at this stage no detailed motive or identity of the attacker has been disclosed.
