After the appointment of vice mayors by Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik and the ongoing changes in some departments, there is curiosity about who has been given which authority and responsibility.

The organizational chart, showing the units directly under Osman Tarık Özçelik and those under the vice mayors, has drawn attention.

THEY ARE CARRYING THE SERVICE LOAD OF THE SYSTEM

In the municipality, where President Özçelik directly manages the council, the commission, the legal department, the personal secretariat, and the newly established inspection board, the political vice mayors have the following responsibilities:

Murat Levent Koçak is responsible for the Departments of Public Works, Cleaning, Culture and Social Affairs, Theater, and Machinery Maintenance, Repair, and Supply. Hasan Can Kamburoğlu is responsible for the Departments of Urban Planning and Development, Planning and Projects, and Building Control. Hasan Servet Ünlü is responsible for the Departments of Urban Design, Strategy Development, Operations and Investments, Environmental Protection and Control, Urban Transformation, Climate Change and Zero Waste, and Disaster Management.

INCREASED AND RESTRICTED AUTHORITIES

Ali Yenialp, serving as the deputy mayor for civil servants, is officially responsible for the municipal police, veterinary services, rural services, local administration affairs, parks and gardens, and permit inspections. Abdurrahman Kahya is responsible for real estate and expropriation, financial services, revenues, human resources and training, and support services. Abdullah Akbaş, whose authorities were reduced in the previous term, is now officially responsible for information technology, sports, social assistance, and external relations. In contrast, Hasan Erdoğan, who previously had unlimited powers as a deputy mayor, is now only in charge of the documentation department.

AUTHORITY DISTRIBUTION TO CONSULTANTS

Consultants Abdurrahman Açıkalın, Sadık Dizdaroğlu, Nazmi Zavlak, and Faruk Konukçu, who hold roles similar to deputy mayors, are working to alleviate the workload of the deputy mayors.

Accordingly, Abdurrahman Açıkalın is responsible for relations with sister cities, national and international organizations and festivals, coordination of the Foreigners’ Council, and relations with ALTAV. Faruk Konukçu is responsible for social assistance services, daycare centers, study centers, and student dormitories. Sadık Dizdaroğlu, who has experience as a personal secretary, is responsible for personal secretary services, press and publication services, support services, and internal audit. Nazmi Zavlak is responsible for rural services, local administration services, parks and gardens management, and funeral services.

The consultant council members manage and coordinate public services directly, taking on the workload of the official deputy mayors and deputy mayors for civil servants.
