Boxer Esra Yıldız Kahraman, competing in the women’s 57 kg category at the Paris 2024 Olympics, secured an Olympic medal by advancing to the semifinals.

In the women’s 57 kg boxing category at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the final quarterfinal matches took place.

At the North Paris Arena, Esra Yıldız Kahraman faced Brazilian Jucielen Cerqueira Romeu.

In the match, the national athlete won the first round 5-0, but lost the second round 1-4. In the final round, Esra Yıldız Kahraman regained the lead and won the match with a score of 4-1, securing her spot in the semifinals.

Esra Yıldız Kahraman, who has guaranteed an Olympic medal, will compete in the semifinal match against Taiwanese boxer Lin Yu Ting on August 7, Wednesday, at 22:30 Turkish time.
