A dispute in front of a boutique on Alanya Atatürk Street quickly escalated into a violent brawl. Stones and sticks were used during the incident, resulting in injuries, and the business was temporarily sealed.

The tension at the boutique on Atatürk Street in Alanya soon turned into a fight. According to reports, a verbal argument between British tourists sitting in front of the shop and the shop’s staff escalated into physical assault. Witnesses stated that a group of six tourists first headbutted the shopkeeper, then punched and kicked him while he was on the ground.

SHOPKEEPER DEFENDED HIMSELF WITH SUN UMBRELLAS

As other shopkeepers nearby intervened, the fight grew larger. One tourist threw a paving stone he picked up from the ground, further raising tensions. Security cameras captured the shopkeeper defending himself with sun umbrellas from the store.

TOURIST GROUP TOOK SHELTER IN A HOTEL

Several people were reportedly injured in the fight, which ended only after the tourist group took shelter in a hotel. Police officers intervened and separated the parties, launching an investigation into the incident.

BUSINESS SEALED FOR 3 DAYS

Municipal teams stepped in and sealed the business for three days for security reasons. As part of the investigation, statements were taken from those involved, while the exact cause of the fight continues to be examined.
