The fire that broke out in Alanya has been extinguished

A fire that broke out in a grassy area in Alanya due to electrical wires was brought under control with the intervention of emergency teams. Approximately 10 acres of land were damaged in the fire.
The fire occurred yesterday around 18:45 in an area located in the Oba neighborhood. Due to windy conditions, sparks from the friction of wires on an electric pole ignited a fire. Seeing the smoke, local residents called for help through the 112 Emergency Call Center. In response to the alert, fire, forest, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. A large number of teams quickly intervened and brought the flames under control. The Alanya Municipality's water tankers also provided support in extinguishing the fire. Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik visited the scene, received information from the teams, and conducted an inspection. The Alanya Municipality’s Cleaning Works Department contributed to the firefighting efforts with 40 personnel and 3 water tankers. Approximately 10 acres of land were damaged in the fire.
