Major cleanup has started in Alanya! Risks will be addressed
The Alanya Municipality continues its river cleaning efforts throughout the city ahead of the upcoming winter months to prevent flooding. The cleaning of riverbeds at various locations aims to mitigate potential flooding risks.
Alanya Municipality, which meticulously works to eliminate environmental threats and prevent visual pollution, is also enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the area. The teams from the Department of Public Works focus on removing foreign objects and debris that obstruct water flow, especially in areas affected by heavy rainfall. In this scope, riverbeds in both the city center and rural neighborhoods have been maintained, with the Hacet River, Gümüşdere, and Oba Stream being cleaned by heavy machinery.
ALL RIVERBEDS ARE BEING CLEANED
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated, "Cleaning riverbeds is crucial to prevent negative events during the winter months. Our teams are implementing an intensive work program throughout the city.
