Bad news for teachers in Alanya: There is no holiday break

The mid-term breaks implemented by the Ministry of National Education were first introduced to students during the tenure of former Minister Ziya Selçuk and were turned into seminar periods for teachers. Teachers in Alanya are also participating in seminars at schools during this process. However, with the new decision by Minister Yusuf Tekin, in-person seminars have now become mandatory again.

During the term of former Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, it was decided that seminars would be held online. This practice created great satisfaction among teachers. Thanks to online seminars, teachers were able to go to their hometowns and find an opportunity to rest during the holiday period. However, this convenience has come to an end in the new term.

MINISTER TEKİN GAVE THE BAD NEWS

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin announced that seminars must be held in person again. While this decision received some support from certain circles, it led to mixed reactions among teachers. Teachers in Alanya will now spend their holiday periods conducting seminars at schools.

HOW WILL IT AFFECT TEACHERS?

With Minister Yusuf Tekin's decision, teachers will now be required to attend in-person seminars during mid-term breaks. This situation could significantly affect teachers' holiday plans and their resting period.
