Governor Şahin, who visited Hüseyin Girenes Science High School, praised the philanthropists of Alanya

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, together with Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, visited Hüseyin Girenes Science High School in Alanya, where he met with teachers and students.

During his visit to Alanya, Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin first met with teachers and students at Hüseyin Girenes Science High School. The visit was attended by Governor Şahin, his wife Ebru Şahin, District Governor Ürkmezer, his wife Miray Ürkmezer, Antalya Provincial Director of National Education Salih Kaygusuz, Alanya District Director of National Education Yusuf Yılmaz, and philanthropist Hüseyin Girenes, who funded the construction of the school. The visit began with a tour of the school’s various departments. Governor Hulusi Şahin inspected the chemistry, biology, and physics laboratories, the music room, the 3D room, the virtual reality classroom, and other areas. He then visited the classrooms, chatted with the students, and wished them success in their studies. After the classroom visits, Governor Hulusi Şahin met with the school administration and teachers, discussing the importance of national consciousness and value-based education, and thanked them for their successful efforts in education. Mentioning that Alanya is a city of philanthropists, Governor Hulusi Şahin said, "Among Antalya districts, Alanya stands out with its philanthropists. Our benefactors support Antalya’s progress in various fields. Hüseyin Girenes, who built this school, has continued to support it for years. We express our gratitude to him and to all our benefactors."
