INSPECTION PROCESSES AND TIMELINES
For new cars and motorcycles, the first inspection will be done three years after the registration date on the license, and then every two years thereafter. Commercial vehicles must be inspected every year. The inspection start date for vehicles is considered to be the manufacturing date.
To avoid the 2025 price increases, vehicle owners are advised to schedule an inspection appointment in December 2024. This way, they can benefit from the lower fees. If a significant fault is detected during the inspection, the fault can be fixed within a month, and the inspection can be renewed for free.
