The Alanya-bound plane could not land at Gazipaşa Airport

A Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Gazipaşa could not land at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport due to adverse weather conditions.
The flight was redirected to Çukurova Airport due to the risks posed by severe turbulence and heavy rainfall in the area.
PASSENGER SAFETY IS A PRIORITY
THY officials emphasized that passenger safety is always the top priority. Accordingly, the plane was redirected to Adana. Efforts are ongoing to ensure passengers reach Gazipaşa as soon as possible.
MONITORING GAZİPAŞA FLIGHTS
It was stated that flights would return to normal once weather conditions improve. Officials at Gazipaşa Airport announced that they are closely monitoring developments and taking the necessary steps to prevent passenger inconvenience.
