The Alanya Yörük Türkmen Association is being established

A group aiming to preserve the Yörük culture in Alanya has established the Alanya Yörük Türkmen Association and submitted the founding documents to the District Governorship.

A group dedicated to preserving Yörük culture in Alanya has taken an important step toward forming an association. Aliihsan Arslan, known as Şalvarcı Aliihsan and the owner of Alaiye Şalvar, along with his friends, continues their efforts to sustain Yörük culture and has submitted the founding documents to the Alanya District Governorship.

The association has represented Alanya at various events, from activities in the Kepez picnic area to Yörük festivals in Burdur, Denizli, and Muğla. Association President Aliihsan Arslan stated that the process of establishing the association is ongoing and that they aim to introduce Yörük culture to a wider audience. He also mentioned that they plan to organize a major event to announce their establishment.

The founding of the Alanya Yörük Türkmen Association is considered an important step in preserving Yörük culture and passing it on to future generations.
