Alanya’s New District Governor Has One Request: Donate Instead of Flowers or Gifts

Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk has requested that congratulations for his new appointment be made not with flowers or gifts, but through donations to the Alanya Hamdullah Emin Paşa Foundation. The foundation provides scholarships to thousands of young people from Alanya and makes significant contributions in the field of education.

District Governor Öztürk expressed his heartfelt thanks to all institutions and residents who sent their congratulations. He asked that during this meaningful time, kind gestures be transformed into a common value for Alanya:

“I sincerely thank all institutions and dear residents who were kind enough to send their congratulations on the occasion of my new appointment. Instead of flowers or gifts, I kindly request that these good intentions be directed toward a shared value for our city.
