Alanya has surpassed 27 provinces in population

In 2024, Alanya's population increased by 5.5% to reach 361,873, making it the third most populous district of Antalya. With this population growth, Alanya has surpassed 27 provinces in Turkey.

According to the 2024 data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Alanya’s population has shown a significant rise. In 2023, the population was 359,891, and with a 5.5% increase, it reached 361,873 in 2024. This growth positioned Alanya as the third most populous district in Antalya.

Besides the population growth, Alanya’s demographic structure is also noteworthy. Women make up 50.7% of the total population, while the rest consists of men. This balance provides an important insight into the social and cultural structure of the city.

The rapid population increase in Alanya also impacts its economic and social dynamics. The vibrancy of sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and trade continues to drive migration to the district, further contributing to its population growth.
