Speedtest, which regularly publishes data on internet speeds worldwide, has shared its latest report. In this 2024 report, the rankings of countries based on fixed and mobile internet speeds were determined.

According to the report, Singapore continues to maintain its lead in fixed internet speed, while the United Arab Emirates tops the list for mobile internet speed. Meanwhile, Turkey’s internet speed ranks behind many countries, including those in Africa.

The Fastest Internet in the World is in Singapore Singapore leads the world in fixed internet speed, with a download speed of 336.45 Mbps. Singapore continues to stand out with its technological investments.

In mobile internet speed, the United Arab Emirates took first place with 545.94 Mbps. Thanks to recent investments in telecommunications infrastructure, the UAE has become the country with the fastest mobile internet in the world.

Turkey Falls Behind in Internet Speed According to Speedtest data, Turkey ranked 101st in fixed internet speed with 49.11 Mbps. In mobile internet speed, Turkey placed 58th with 66.04 Mbps.

This ranking shows that Turkey lags behind many countries in terms of internet infrastructure. The report reveals that countries such as Armenia, Guatemala, Ivory Coast, Mauritius, Ghana, and Bangladesh have surpassed Turkey in fixed internet speed.
