Intensive preparations in Alanya: Inspection of 208 hotels, 30,000 km traveled by Özçelik

Intensive preparations are underway in Alanya for the 2025 summer season, during which 208 hotels have been inspected, Mayor Özçelik has traveled 30,000 kilometers to promote the city, and an increase in the number of tourists from the European market is expected.

The Municipality of Alanya is carrying out an intense preparation process ahead of the 2025 summer season to revitalize tourism and increase security. Deputy Mayor Servet Ünlü announced that 208 accommodation facilities in Alanya have been inspected, and strict security and licensing checks on entertainment venues are ongoing. Ünlü stated that they are prioritizing service quality and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of both locals and tourists.

Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik continues to participate in fairs both domestically and abroad to increase Alanya's brand value in tourism. In the first 70 days of 2025, Mayor Özçelik traveled 30,000 kilometers, promoting Alanya's natural and historical beauties, with the goal of growing the city's tourism volume.

A positive outlook is also expected in the European market. Kaan Kaşif Kavaloğlu, President of the Mediterranean Tourist Hoteliers and Operators Association, stated that they expect an increase in the number of tourists from Germany and the UK, and that Alanya and Antalya will have a busy tourism season starting in April. Early bookings and fair promotions are creating optimism in the industry.
