Record Prostitution Penalty in Alanya

Two men sentenced to a total of 364 years and 208 months in prison for allegedly forcing 26 foreign women into prostitution in a bathhouse in Alanya.

In the final hearing at Alanya’s 3rd High Criminal Court, defendants Hüseyin V. and Hakan G. were convicted of human trafficking for allegedly forcing 26 foreign women into sexual acts at a bathhouse. Hüseyin V. received 156 years and 208 months, and Hakan G. received 208 years in prison. Hakan G. was arrested in Söke, Aydın, while Hüseyin V. remains at large.

The bathhouse was found to have been operating without a license since 2013 and has been shut down.
