A luxury yacht was engulfed in flames in Alanya

A fire broke out on the private yacht named "Kleopatra Luxury", docked at the pier in Alanya, causing panic. The fire, which started in the morning, quickly engulfed the entire vessel.

It was reported that the fire began around 08:00 AM and that nearby residents noticed the smoke and alerted the authorities. The initial response to the fire was made by local personnel.

Firefighters from the Alanya Municipality and the marine police were dispatched to the scene shortly after. Despite intense efforts both from land and sea, the fire could not be brought under control for a long time.

SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE YACHT

As a result of the fire, a large portion of the yacht became unusable. Significant structural damage was reported, particularly on the upper decks. It was announced that there were no casualties or injuries.

To prevent the fire from spreading to other boats, security measures around the pier were increased. Nearby yachts and boats were relocated to safer areas. After hours of firefighting, cooling efforts continue to ensure the fire is fully extinguished. A technical investigation into the incident has been launched.
