Major Event in Alanya: All Eyes Are on This City

Preparations have been completed for the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge Cup, to be held in Alanya between June 11-15 under the hosting of Alanya Municipality. Mayor Özçelik visited the venue and even did a volleyball practice on-site.

One of the most prestigious international beach volleyball events, the Beach Pro Tour Challenge will take place in Alanya as one of its 2025 stages. The event will be hosted at the Alanya International Beach Sports Center, which is preparing to open its doors to the world between June 11–15, 2025. Alanya Municipality, which built Turkey’s most advanced beach volleyball facility including grandstands, has finalized preparations. Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik inspected the venue along with event coordinator and Turkish Olympic Committee Member Abdurrahman Açıkalın. Practicing volleyball with Açıkalın on the sand, Mayor Özçelik said, “I thank all my colleagues who contributed to bringing this important organization to our city. I believe that we’ve shifted into second gear in turning Alanya into a branded tourism city. We will now showcase both Alanya and our tourism potential to the world.”

A launch event will be held today for the international volleyball championship, which will be played across 12 courts at Oba Milli Egemenlik Beach between June 11–15.
