Environmental Awards Presented in Alanya
As part of Turkey’s Environment Week, Alanya Municipality held the Environmental Week Awards Ceremony. Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik emphasized their commitment to a cleaner and greener Alanya, stating, “Our vision is to take responsibility not just for today but for tomorrow as well.”
Environmental-themed exhibitions were opened to the public, and students who succeeded in the Zero Waste competitions were awarded. In the Waste Battery Collection Campaign, 1108 kilograms of batteries were collected from 175 schools across the district.
