The inspection will take place tomorrow at 11:00 AM, with 7 experts conducting an on-site evaluation.
The comprehensive struggle against the expansion of the Aytemiz Fuel Filling and Distribution Facility, which is planned to be enlarged over approximately 5,000 decares of land, is ongoing. Following the lawsuit filed in recent weeks, a court decision was made to carry out a site inspection.
As previously reported by our newspaper, the inspection process has now been confirmed. The inspection will be held on Friday, June 20 at 11:00 AM. A total of 7 experts will participate in the site visit, including: a Road Traffic and Traffic Impact Analysis Expert, an Environmental Impact Assessment and Waste Expert, a Hydrobiology and Water Resources Expert, a Fauna Expert, an Ecologist and Hydrobiology Expert, a Flora Expert, and an Expert on the Transport of Hazardous Materials, Ship Safety, and Investigation of Marine Accidents.
Lawyer Şenli invited the local community and all those who wish to support the cause to be present at the inspection site tomorrow.
"We Are Expecting Everyone’s Support"
The Alanya Environmental Volunteers Platform emphasized that every legal effort will be persistently made to protect the nature, agriculture, tourism, and the future of Alanya’s children.
Providing details about the process, Şenli stated:
“The court conducted a preliminary assessment and decided on an on-site inspection. The date has now been set for tomorrow at 11:00. We will continue our fight without interruption for our natural environment and Alanya’s future. We will not allow this facility, which threatens to harm Alanya, to proceed. We invite everyone who cares about our environment and wants to protect it to join us tomorrow. We will not allow this destruction to happen.”
