Breaking News – Detention order issued for Muhittin Böcek's son and former daughter-in-law

As part of the investigation launched by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, a detention order has been issued for Gökhan Böcek, son of Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek, and his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu.
In the ongoing bribery investigation, detention orders have been issued for Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek, his son Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, and his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu.
In the early morning hours, Mayor Böcek and Kerimoğlu were taken from their residence in Konyaaltı and brought to the Provincial Police Department. It has been reported that his son, Mustafa Gökhan, is abroad and currently a fugitive.
The investigation file has been registered under the number 2025/60355. The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that search, seizure, and detention procedures were initiated against the three suspects based on two separate incidents.
The allegations are as follows:
Prior to the 2024 local elections, Gökhan Böcek allegedly demanded 25 million TL from businessman Yusuf Yadoğlu at his office. In return, an invoice worth 8.5 million TL was issued for vehicle wrapping services.
In February 2025, a house worth 30 million TL was reportedly purchased under Kerimoğlu’s name, Gökhan’s ex-wife during their divorce process, with the payment made in parts by Yadoğlu.
It is claimed that MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) reports, bank statements, and phone traffic records (HTS) confirm these statements.
