Parents in Alanya were eagerly waiting! The academic calendar has been announced... There will be no mid-term break

The eagerly awaited academic calendar has been announced in Alanya.
The Ministry of National Education announced that there will be no mid-term break between November 3–7, 2025, and nationwide standardized exams will be held in all schools during that time.
The Ministry issued a statement in response to public claims about the 2025–2026 academic calendar.
It confirmed that no mid-term holiday will be given between November 3–7, as nationwide written exams will take place during those dates.
RESPONSE TO NOVEMBER 10 CLAIMS
The Ministry denied social media claims suggesting that November 10, Atatürk Memorial Day, was intentionally included in the break. It emphasized that the schedule was set strictly in line with the national assessment and evaluation calendar.
As in previous years, mid-term breaks are planned to coincide with the 9th week after the start of school. However, since nationwide exams will be held in that same week this year, the mid-term break will be moved to a different date.
IT WILL BE HELD BETWEEN NOVEMBER 10–14
The Ministry announced that the mid-term break for the 2025–2026 academic year is planned for November 10–14, 2025. It also warned that this change will shorten the remaining time until the end of the first semester.
It was also stated that Atatürk Memorial events, as in previous years, will be held between November 4–8, and since November 10, 2025, falls on a Sunday, commemoration activities will be held on that day with the participation of students, teachers, and parents.
"DO NOT BELIEVE MISLEADING CLAIMS"
The Ministry stated that the academic calendar was prepared not only based on pedagogical principles but also considering legal obligations, exam dates, and national holidays. It emphasized that the reappearance of this topic, despite an official announcement made months earlier, is part of a deliberate disinformation campaign, and urged the public not to be misled.
