The renewal fee is 15 TL until this date, but will rise sharply to 7,438 TL starting August 1. Due to many people waiting until the last minute, population offices are crowded. Citizens can make appointments via Alo 199 call center, mobile app, or nvi.gov.tr and apply with the necessary documents. New licenses are delivered to the address via PTT, and driving with a temporary license is allowed.
