Tragic Incident on Alanya Road: VIP Minibus Runs Red Light, Claims a Life

On the Manavgat-Alanya road, a VIP minibus ran a red light and collided with a motorcycle, killing the rider, Hüseyin Evren. The accident was caught on camera.

In Manavgat, a VIP tour minibus that ran a red light crashed into a motorcycle attempting to turn at an intersection. The severely injured rider died in the hospital. The incident was recorded by security cameras.

ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON THE MANAVGAT–ALANYA ROAD

The accident took place yesterday evening at the Taşağıl Junction on the Antalya–Alanya Highway. A VIP tour minibus with license plate 31 ASF 327, driven by 25-year-old İshak D., hit a motorcycle with license plate 07 BMA 512, ridden by Hüseyin Evren, who was turning at the intersection.

MOTORCYCLE RIDER DID NOT SURVIVE

The impact threw Hüseyin Evren onto the road, causing severe injuries. Medical teams dispatched to the scene transported him to Serik State Hospital. Despite intensive care, Evren died from his injuries.

VIP MINIBUS RAN THE RED LIGHT

Gendarmerie teams from the Taşağıl Station examined security footage, which revealed that the VIP tour minibus ran the red light. The driver, İshak D., was taken into custody.

The footage shows the minibus speeding into the intersection, hitting the motorcycle, and throwing the rider onto the asphalt. The video reveals the severity of the crash.
