Breaking Announcement for Parents in Alanya: Uniforms Are Changing

The Ministry of National Education has abolished the free dress code and introduced mandatory uniforms for the 2025-2026 academic year. Students in Alanya will start the new term wearing uniforms.

Starting from the 2025-2026 school year, the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) is ending the free clothing policy. The mandatory uniform system, which will apply to all schools, aims to protect family budgets and ensure equality among students. Minister Yusuf Tekin emphasized that the decision was made based on requests from parents.

According to the new regulation, no special symbols, crests, prints, or costly embellishments will be allowed. Each school's uniform designs will be published on MoNE’s official website. Uniforms will not be changed for at least four years. Students with medical conditions will be allowed to wear special clothing with a valid report.

Schools in Alanya are also preparing to adopt this system for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Ministry stated that this change is not only about uniforms but also an important step toward strengthening equal opportunities in education and reducing parents’ financial burden.
