Alanya Municipality Launches Aid Program: Will Continue Until Friday

Alanya Municipality Provides School Supply Support for Students

Ahead of the new school year, Alanya Municipality has launched support efforts for students in need, delivering school bags and stationery to first graders in rural neighborhoods.

Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated: “We will provide over a thousand children with school bags, notebooks, pencils, and other essential stationery. Through our social services, we will reach students in need.”

Advisor to the Mayor, Faruk Konukçu, added: “We started in Tostlak neighborhood. Based on the list provided by the District Directorate of National Education, we identified 1,080 first-grade students in rural areas. With the support of our Social Assistance Directorate, we are distributing school bags and stationery. The deliveries will be completed by Friday.”

Each child receives a school bag, notebooks, pencils, and essential supplies. Authorities emphasized that all aid will be delivered before the school year begins.
