Cooking Gas Price Soars in Alanya: 12 kg Cylinder Hits 1,180 TL

Following a rise in fuel prices, LPG has also become more expensive in Alanya, where a 12-kilogram cooking cylinder now costs 1,180 Turkish lira.

Previously, the same cylinders were sold for around 1,000–1,050 TL since July, but the recent price surge has placed significant strain on households.

Local vendors urge consumers not to wait, warning that subsequent hikes could push the price up by 50–100 TL in an instant.

The price increases extend to other types:

2 kg picnic cylinder — ~ 250 TL

24 kg commercial cylinder — ~ 2,153 TL

45 kg industrial cylinder — 4,100 TL

45 kg propane cylinder — 4,250 TL

The situation is raising concerns among residents, especially those who heavily rely on gas in everyday life.
