Alanya Finalizes Program for Atatürk Commemoration on November 10

The city of Alanya has announced the schedule of events to mark the 87th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s passing.
Key events will take place on November 10, 2025:
At 09:00, wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk monument.
At 09:05, there will be a two-minute moment of silence, the Turkish National Anthem, and the national flag will be lowered to half-mast.
At 10:00, the commemoration program begins in Hall A of the Alanya Cultural Center: tributes, speeches, awards, and a special presentation titled “Sparks of Atatürk.”
Additionally, a chess tournament is scheduled for November 8–9 in the indoor sports hall of Alanya Bahçeşehir College as part of remembrance week. The events are jointly organized by the district governor’s office, the municipality, and the military authorities.
