Russian Husband in Alanya Allegedly Stabs Wife — Referred to Court

A domestic violence incident has shaken Alanya: according to media reports, Russian national M.G. stabbed his wife A.G., with whom he is in the midst of divorce proceedings.

The altercation reportedly began in the morning in Mahmutlar district at a residential complex. During the dispute, M.G. attacked his wife with a knife — she suffered injuries to the forehead, tongue, and arm.

The victim was rushed to hospital, and her condition is reported to be stable.

The suspect was apprehended on the spot with the weapon and has been transported to court for legal proceedings.

Authorities are treating the case as a serious incident of domestic violence and are expected to carry out a full investigation.
