New Mandatory Regulations for Motorcycle Couriers Introduced in Alanya

New regulations for motorcycle couriers are coming into effect in Alanya. Under recent legislative changes, all motorcycle couriers must obtain a specific “P‐type” authorization (Yetki Belgesi), complete training, and pass an exam for professional qualification (Level-3 Vocational Competence Certificate).
Couriers must now also be officially registered: employers are required to notify the ministry of every courier, and those who apply for the certificate by 15 November 2025 qualify for a discounted rate.
The new rules also include: requiring couriers to wear a vest labelled “KURYE” with the company's U-NET number, use proper equipment (helmet, gloves, boots), and use marked vehicles.
Officials say the measures aim to enhance road safety and bring order to the courier delivery sector.
