With just 14 days of annual leave, people in Türkiye can enjoy a total of 43 days off throughout the year!
Highlights from the 2026 holiday calendar:
New Year’s Holiday: January 1–4 → +1 day off = 4 days
Ramadan Bayram: March 14–22 → +4 days = 9 days
National Sovereignty Day (April 23): April 23–26 → +1 day = 4 days
Labor Day (May 1): May 1–4 → +1 day = 4 days
Commemoration of Atatürk and Youth Day (May 19): May 16–19 → +1 day = 4 days
Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayram): May 23–30 → +2 days = 8 days
Democracy and National Unity Day (July 15): July 10–15 → +3 days = 6 days
Republic Day (October 29): October 29 – November 1 → +1 day = 4 days
