Gendarmerie Launches Major Anti-Drug Operation in Alanya

In Alanya, gendarmerie units, acting under instructions from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, carried out synchronized raids on four residences belonging to four suspects. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 25 kilograms of synthetic cannabinoid (bonzai), as well as 2 unlicensed pistols, 2 magazines, 183 rounds of 9×19 mm ammunition, and a large sum of money — €56,430 and $5,500, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects.
