Alanya Municipality hosts its special guests at the Accessible Public Beach

Alanya Municipality's Accessible Public Beach brings together special guests, including local and foreign visitors as well as residents of Alanya, including disabled individuals. Located at the world-renowned Kleopatra Beach in Damlataş, managed by the Municipality's Social Assistance Department, the Accessible Public Beach allows disabled individuals to enjoy the sea comfortably. This beach, Turkey's first accessible public beach with a Blue Flag certification, is praised for its cleanliness, social amenities, and accessibility. Special amenities such as ramped elevators facilitate easy access for disabled visitors brought by private vehicles, enabling them to enter the sea independently. During the summer season, the beach attracts significant attention, allowing disabled individuals to enjoy the sea without needing assistance. Recently, a group from Şanlıurfa benefited from the beach's facilities, enjoying the sea free of charge. Lifeguards and staff stationed at the beach ensure safety and assist visitors and their companions in enjoying their time by the sea. Faruk Konukçu, Municipal Advisor, emphasized their commitment to continuing service under a social municipality approach, accelerating efforts to enhance facilities at the beach, which has become a popular destination for hundreds of special guests in recent months.
