The disgrace of a slap incident in Alanya

The Mayor of Alanya, Osman Tarık Özçelik, stated that they intervened in an incident where a taxi driver slapped a tourist and apologized to the affected tourist. "Such incidents harm Alanya's image," he said.
Speaking exclusively to "Yeni Alanya," Mayor Özçelik commented on the incident at the Mola Junction, where a foreign cyclist was reportedly slapped by a taxi driver under the pretext of "You hit my car, you must pay." Emphasizing that such incidents damage Alanya's reputation, Özçelik said: "I am currently in Finland. Here, I am working to promote Alanya and enhance its image, but such incidents harm our reputation. Our team located the foreign citizen who was slapped, apologized to him on behalf of Alanya, and addressed his grievance."
NO FORCED RETIREMENT
Responding to allegations that municipal staff who have reached retirement age are being pressured to retire, Mayor Özçelik said: "We do not put any pressure on any of our staff. The claims that we are forcing someone to retire are false. Not a single person can confront me with such an accusation; this is not true."
