Turkey announces shortened hours on Oct 28 and full holiday on Oct 29 for Republic Day

Turkey is preparing for the upcoming national holiday, Republic Day (Turkey), with a special schedule. On the eve — October 28 — public offices, banks and schools are advised to close or operate only until 13:00.

The full holiday is on October 29, when all government buildings, educational institutions and banks will be closed for the day.
