Another one of our planes has crashed

In the Yenişehir district of Bursa, a training aircraft belonging to a private flight school crashed during takeoff. The pilot of the aircraft sustained minor injuries.

The incident occurred at around 12:45 at Yenişehir Airport. The plane, which took off for training purposes, crashed due to a technical malfunction while leaving the runway. It was reported that the pilot is in good health.

STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

The Bursa Governor’s Office issued a statement regarding the incident. The statement read: "On 08.01.2025, at around 12:45, a training aircraft belonging to a private flight school crashed while leaving the runway at Yenişehir Airport in Bursa. The pilot sustained injuries that are not life-threatening."

INVESTIGATION INITIATED

After the crash, the relevant authorities launched an investigation into the incident. The technical condition of the plane and the cause of the crash are being examined in detail.
