The tunnels are nearing an end

Work on the tunnels in Dimçayı and Tosmur, which is one of the important stages of the New Alanya Ring Road Project, which is expected to greatly relieve traffic in ALANYA, is progressing rapidly. It is anticipated that with the completion of the project, transportation in the region will become more convenient and traffic will decrease.
The project, which was planned to be completed at the end of 2021 but was prolonged, has finally come to an end. The last 100 meters of the tunnel work has been reached. AK Party Alanya District Chairman Mehmet Şarani Tavlı made special statements to Yeni Alanya regarding the issue. Mayor Tavlı stated that they are in the final stages of the tunnel work and that they aim to put the ring road into service as soon as the project is completed. Tavlı said, “Work continues in the last 100 meters of the tunnel. We will hold a meeting with the General Directorate of Highways in Alanya in 1 week and 10 days. Contractors will inspect the tunnel. We will explore whether there is an obstacle to the ring road. Our goal is to open the ring road as soon as possible. In the first stage, we want to at least connect it to the Mahmutlar plateau road. "We will work in coordination with Alanya Municipality regarding connection roads and intersections," he said. (Şerife ÇOBAN)
